Novaculichthys taeniourusNovaculichthys taeniourus is also known as Dragon Wrasse, Rockmover Wrasse, or Olive-scribbled Wrasse. Mainly inhabits semi-exposed reef flats with gentle currents, areas mixed with debris and gravel, or coral reefs which are 2-14 meters under water. A solitary species with strong territorial behavior. Adults are not big but very powerful and can flip over rocks to look for prey in the cracks of a rock or under rocks.......     more

The Old Man Selling Flour Tea

Born to a rich family in South County of Xichuan, Hsi learned Chinese painting in a private school in 1931. When studying in Chengdu College, he was enlightened by painter Pang Xun-qin. Hsi then transferred to Shapingba National Arts College and received training under Lin Feng-Mian while he acquainted many painters such as Tsao Wu-Ji, Chu Teh-Chun and Li Chun-Shan.     more
