Their Stories of Paper Making

Long ago, the paper making workers at Puli Township in Nantou County repeatedly stirred in pulps to a tank, shook and waited for the pulps to sink to the tank’s bottom, and then used the paper fibers to weave paper. This exhibition, scheduled to run through March 2, 2013 at Suho Paper Memorial Museum in Taipei, uses the handmade paper manufactured by these workers to capture the images of the workers and their personal belongings. Colorful Season - Lin Li-Yun’s Solo Exhibition

The exhibition at Taipei City Hall Famous Gallery (http://gallery.taipei.gov.tw/ct.asp?xItem=37829634&ctNode=21090&mp=100052) focuses on a series of human portraits by artist Li-Yun Lin. Transformation Taiwan Expo Exhibition

The exposition, hosted at National Taiwan Science Education Center in Taipei until February 28, 2013 (http://en.ntsec.gov.tw/User/Article.aspx?a=160), is featured by a one-and-only six-meter tall Bumblebee. Life of Pi

Life of Pi is a fantasy drama movie about an Indian boy named Pi who is stranded on a boat with a ferocious Bengal tiger. The movie, directed by Taiwanese-born academy award winning film director Ang Lee, opened on November 21, 2012 in Taiwan.
