The Billboard for On-Duty Table

Tags: equipment

Since 1936
It’s purpose is for the record of staff on-duty status. The upper portion should have the blackboard to mark the notice and event, but it lost now. The lower portion listed the name of doctor in charge, resident and the administrative staff. The people must put their name plate in the right side of their names to present the “on duty” status when they came to work and take name plate off when they left or in vacation. The frame of this board had been ironed with the wording of “帝大医院(Taipei Imperial University Medical School Affiliated Hospital)”. We believe the board was hang inside the ophthalmology department to make notice and to show the duty status of the staff of this department.
