Volunteers At Ease: Group Exhibition by Yingge Ceramics Museum Volunteers

There has been a group of enthusiastic volunteers working and progressing together with Yingge Ceramics Museum in New Taipei City since the Museum opened in 2000. They consist of ceramicists, office workers, housewives, and retirees. Many of them spent time taking ceramic courses. Every two years, starting in 2008, the volunteers get chance to present their learning outcome in the form of a collaborated “group exhibition.” They chose the theme “volunteers at ease” to share with the viewers in a leisure way their creations of ceramic art. Their works convey their life experience, self-reflection and social and humanity concerns. The exhibition will close on December 16, 2012 (http://www.ceramics.ntpc.gov.tw/Control/Exhibition.ycm?pr=875&Lang=EN).
