The Council of Cultural Affairs has been holding an annual competition of New Year prints since 1986. This year's contest of ox prints attracted more than 200 pieces from Taiwanese art practitioners. Of these, 66 pieces including 36 award winners are displayed in the 24th New Year Prints Exhibition in National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (http://www.ntmofa.gov.tw/english/b/b01_1.php?id=310&types=1&m1=0&m2=0&m3=0). The exhibition, which runs from January 3 to March 8, 2009, also shows work by the renowned lithographers Yang Cheng-yuan and Tsai Hong-ling.
