Tsou / Armlet of Boar's Tusk

This bangle is made by two boar tusks tied together to form a circle. The Tsou drilled four holes in the tusks and then strung linen line through the holes and tied them together. The tusks were sharpened to be connected together and tightened by a rope then decorated with red and yellow stripes which mean defending and fighting. The armlet is usually worn on the arms or attached to the sleeves. Only brave warriors were allowed to wear it.
