Eastern Han

The tsun was the main wine vessel used in the Han dynasty, its production and decoration often being quite refined. The surface of this vessel was gilt, and its outer decoration composed of images of spirits, auspicious beasts, and winged (immortal) figures, representing paradise as envisioned by people in the Han dynasty.
