Hsin-tiao Yun-chai Kuang-lu (Cloud Studio Miscellany) |
Woodblock-printed books made during the Jin Dynasty are extremely rare; this book (新雕雲齋廣錄) is the only one existing in Taiwan. It used to belong to Pan Tsu-yin's (潘祖蔭) PangXiZhai Studio of the Qing Dynasty. This book was originally determined to be printed in the Zheng-he period of the Northern Song Dynasty. However, when its paper and ink, format, and carving style were examined, it was believed to be done at Pingshui in the Jin Dynasty as a reprint of the Northern Song edition.
