Gourd-shape glass vase with two handles

Tags: craft | vessel

This vase is in 4th or 5th Century Syrian Style. The upper part of the neck expands a little, creating an illusory effect of expanding to infinity. This idiosyncratic design is the particular characteristics of this vase. The entire vessel is translucent and emits a silver white glow. Some parts show white weathering of long time, showing a beauty of elegance and simplicity.
