Cornelianb Ruyi sceptre

Tags: Qing dynasty | ruyi

This Ruyi is one of a pair. Two persimmons, signifying wish come true, are carved on its head, where happens to be the bright red part of this agate, making the persimmons extraordinarily vivid. The middle of this Ruyi is carved with a bundle. In the end of the Ruyi we will find the carvings of day lily; the red flowers and white stems form an interesting contrast.
