Inscribed Arrow Shafts

These are four of a collection of nine inscribed arrows. There were many similar pieces produced in the workshops of the Han dynasty. Each was inscribed with the date of production, name of the workshop(in this case the Henan workshop),the names of those responsible at each stage of production managcment, and the names and serial numbers of the workers.
