The shell of the Conus geographus is tube-shaped. The body whorl is covered with reddish-brown meshed patterns and two to three dark brown horizontal straps. It also has rough lumps on the shoulders, while the aperture is wide. There are cases in which human beings were killed by the poison of this species.
