Their Stories of Paper Making

Long ago, the paper making workers at Puli Township in Nantou County repeatedly stirred in pulps to a tank, shook and waited for the pulps to sink to the tank’s bottom, and then used the paper fibers to weave paper. This exhibition, scheduled to run through March 2, 2013 at Suho Paper Memorial Museum in Taipei (http://www.suhopaper.org.tw/museum/exhibition/index.html), uses the handmade paper manufactured by these workers to capture the images of the workers and their personal belongings. Through these images, the life stories of the workers are told and their hard work can finally be recognized.
