Polinices didyma (大玉螺)
1. Found on the silt bottoms of shallow seawaters. 2. The shell is nearly oval-shaped and thick. On its surface, the shell is grayish brown, and under the sutures there are white and deep brown color stripes with net-like engravings. The apex of the shell is black and a large umbilical plate, deep brown, with an umbilical slit divides the plate into two pieces of roughly equal size. The umbilical opening is big and deep and mostly covered by the umbilical plate. The shell aperture is brown and semi-circle in shape. The aperture, covered with brown keratin, is semi-circular and is of the same size as the aperture.
