1. Mainly found in shallow seawaters or on the sand and gravel bottoms around coral reefs. 2. Shuttlecock volva is renowned for its beautiful appearance, and like the Cypraea vitellus, bears a highly-developed mantle that grows to cover part of their mottled shell.
