Cechenena lineosa subangustata 泛綠背線天蛾
The currently valid name of this species is Cechenena subangustata. It is found in Taiwan, India, Thailand, southern China, Indonesia’s Sumatra island, and Malaysia. Its type specimen origin is Sumatra. This species could be easily mistaken for the C. lineosa. However, the C. subangustata is of a bigger size, and the forewings of fresh specimens are completely green. The black parts of the reverse side of its hind wings are wider, and both the forewings and the hind wings are slightly yellow. These features are what distinguish it from the C. lineosa.
