Tamsui Custom House Wharf
The Tamsui Wharf is approximately 150 meters in length, with gravity type construction. The entire surface of the shore section is covered with hard stones. The shore section is either 1 meter or 83 cm long, with each cross section about 41 square cm. Beneath it are 33 square cm stones, making the structure very sturdy. There is a boat docking area with 15 rocks, approximately 2 square meters in size, and is fitted with ties for mooring and also for loading and unloading goods. This structure is now regarded as a piece of cultural heritage.
