Habitats and Distribution
Endemic, in thickets at low to medium altitudes or exposed lands or rocks along the sea shores of Juisui, Tulanshan, Taitung; and Isls. Lanyu and Lutao.

Life Form
Leaves
Leaves alternate, obovate or elliptic, 1.5-3.0 cm long, 0.5-1.2 cm broad, sparsely hispid on both sides, chartaceous; petioles 2-3 mm long.

 

Fruit
Syconium 0.6-1 cm wide, reddish-brown in mature.
