Leaves ovate to oblong-ovate, 5-16 cm long, the apex acute to acuminate, the base cuneate to attenuate, oblique, pubscent; petiole 1-4 mm long.



Flowers
Flowers in terminal ebracteate cymes, heterostylous, peduncle 2-10 mm long, pedicel 0.5-2mm long; bracteoles minute, calyx urceolate, ca. 2 mm long, villose, lobes 5, ovate, ca. 0.5 mm long; corolla tubular, white, 4-6 mm long, glabrous except hairy on throat.

Drupe obcordate.
