Body length 65~87mm. This kind of locust is the largest one in Taiwan. Female adult's body length is longer than male. Body color is light-green in both sex. One visible vertical yellow stripe below each compound eye on face. The hind-legs are stronger for jumping.

Distribution: at low elevation plains and mountains of Taiwan.
