Tags: figurine | jade

Hotien jade is bluish white, hard and dense. Its original jade material is thick and solid; the carving technique is neat and simple. Done in the technique of circular carving, this figure is an auspicious animal that defies the evil. It raises its head as if roaring. It is estimated to be carved in 1960s.
