Yukagir, one of the best-known mammoths in the world, and Oymiakon, the best preserved mammoth ever discovered, have come to the National Museum of Natural Science in Taichung. These two beauties, along with more than 100 precious fossil specimens from the National Taiwan Museum, Osaka Museum of Natural History, Chi Mei Museum, and the collector Wang Liang-chieh, are exhibited in the 4th Special Exhibition Gallery from November 28, 2008 ~ March 1, 2009.
