KIM Tschang-Yeul Solo Exhibition

Born in 1929 and now based in Paris, Kim Tschang-Yeul is a prolific Korean artist who enjoys great success in the contemporary Western art world. He has been an influential figure in the modern art movement in South Korea and the creation of Korean Contemporary Artists Association in the 1950s. He lived in New York in the 1960s and moved to Paris in the 1970s. National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in Taichung, through January 20, 2013, is presenting a solo exhibition of Kim’s artwork (http://www.ntmofa.gov.tw/english/ShowInfomation_1.aspx?SN=3634&n=10135). It showcases a total of 51 paintings spanning from 1964 to the present time across different phases of Kim's artistic career.
