Leaves opposite, thin coriaceous, subsessile, pinnate venation, obovate to broadly elliptic, 14-26 cm long, glabrous; stipules large, between the petioles, caducous.

 

Flower
Capitulum globose,bracts 2, caducous;calyx-tube, 5-lobed ; corolla funnelform, 5-lobed, imbricate in bud; style very exserted, stigma head; ovary 2-celled, ovules many in each cell; flowers white.
