Between the Fantasies-Art Song by Li Tai-Hsiang

I.    Lyrics (translated from Chinese)

Life is like a drama. Drama is the same as the life.
The true mingles with the dream world and is unable to recognize.
In the play, outside the play. Cannot tell.
The on-stage sheen, just like the life, keeps vanishing into thin air.
Suddenly it shines with all different colors. Look at flickering stage lighting.
Suddenly it is dark and lonely. Just like the unexpected changing world.
Di Du Di Du Di Du Di Du
Stage lighting dazzles, real and unreal images are overlapping.
Life is just a flickering light. In old days, lighting was used for illumination.
And now, lighting is used to create the world of light and shadow.
Let my light and my shadow.
Project to the stage of life. To cry for me, smile for me.
And to show my dream and love.
Di Du Di Du Di Du Di Du.
Is it a play? Or life?
Like the real thing and like a dream. But it is colorful.
And fascinating, and fascinating.

Lyrics written by Chang Chia-Jung and Li Tai-Hsiang
