Description

The National Museum of History houses a collection of 1,084 pieces of bamboo and wood artifacts, such as scholars’ desk and decorative objects, figurines of deities, ceremonial and musical instruments, objects of daily uses and production tools, which can be appreciated by both literati and ordinary people. This wide-ranging collection even includes folk-friendly ceremonial baskets and scholars’ decorative arm-rests. The collection also comprises bamboo objects carved into shapes like mountains and waters, hanging screens and arm-rests with calligraphy design, and objects of original design.
