Since it had published, it had become the material used and cited with highest frequency by Taiwan history researchers. The contents of “Taiwan Collectanea” divided into three categories: I. General history of Taiwan, Local history of Taiwan, includes the rewrite and successor versions. II. Travel notes and related historical books and old maps. III. This collection was the most important compilation in studying Taiwan’s history, geography, convention, politics, economics, sociology, cultural and law system.
