Description

The Academia Sinica Tagged Corpus of Early Mandarin Chinese is designed for historical linguistic research. The corpus contains texts in Early Mandarin Chinese (from Tang to Qing) that are selected because of their usefulness in grammatical and lexical studies, as well as an inspection program with keyword searching, statistics, and collocation functions. Each text in the corpus has been segmented into words, which are in turn given part-of-speech tagging. The ancient documents on line are as follows: Hong Lou Meng, Jing Ping Mei, Ping Yao Zhuan, Shui Hu Zhuan, Ru Lin Wai Shi, Xing Shi Yin Yuan, Xi You Ji, Guan Han Qing Xi Qu Ji, Yuan Kan Za Ji Shan Shi Zhong and Yong Le Da Dian Xi Wen San Zhong.
