Description

With an aim to promoting and preserving Chinese culture, the National Museum of History has collected many exquisite calligraphy works, many of which are masterpieces of certain time periods. A large part of the collected works date from the early Republic of China period and contemporary times, and have been acquired mostly through donations or through purchases. Therefore, the considerable collection in the Museum is fairly significant to the study of calligraphy in Taiwan from the early Republic of China period onwards.
