DD-15 was the ex-USS Jones, the Benson-class destroyer, DD-427, laid down by Charleston Navy Yard, S.C. on May 16, 1938, launched on December 14, 1939 and commissioned on September 7, 1940. USS Jones was under the command of the Atlantic Fleet, USN and has participated in the World War II with great achievement. USS Jones was later transferred to ROC Navy and commissioned on February 26, 1954 and renamed as Han-Yang with the hull number DD-15. DD-14 was the ex-USS Benson, DD-421, the Benson-class destroyer, laid down by Bethlehem Steel Co., Quincy, MA. on May 16, 1938, launched on November 15, 1939 and commissioned on July 25, 1940. USS Benson had joined six important operations in World War II with great achievement and received five battle stars. USS Benson was transferred to ROC Navy and received by Mr. Ku, Wei-Jiun, ROC Taiwan ambassador to US on February 26, 1954. Nan-Yang Destroyer

DD-17 was the ex-USS Plunkett, the Gleaves-class destroyer, DD-431, laid down by Federal Shipbuilding Co., Kearny, NJ. March 1, 1939, launched March 9, 1940 and commissioned July 16, 1940. USS Plunkett was transferred to ROC Navy and commissioned February 16, 1959 and renamed as Nan-Yang with the hull number DD-17. DD-17 Nan-Yang was under the command of Squadron 11, Destroyer Flotilla, ROC Navy. With the USN Mk-33 acoustic tracking torpedoes equipped onboard while transferring, the Mk-33 was one of the modern ASW weapons in the Navy. DD-16 was the ex-USS Rodman, the Gleaves-class destroyer, DD-456, laid down by Federal Shipbuilding Co., Kearny, NJ. December 16, 1940, launched September 26, 1941 and commissioned January 27, 1942. USS Rodman has participated several sea battles in the World War II with great achievements. Decommissioned July 28, 1955, stricken  November 1, 1972, USS Rodman was transferred to ROC Navy and commissioned in 1955 and renamed as Hsien-Yang with the hull number DD-16. Shin-Yang Destroyer

Shin-Yang destroyer was established by Maiguru shipyard and named Chu-Mei in 1945, Japan. It has engaged a couple of sea battles during the World War Ⅱ. The Japan failed the war and surrendered without reserve in 1945. According to the greement of allied countries, the representative of R.O.C. has gotten 8 Japanese warships by draw in June 28, 1946. Shin-Yang is one of those. Shin-Yang was shipped to Gao-Chang-Miao wharf, Shanghai, in 1947. She was transferred officially to R.O.C., named it “Shin-Yang” with the hull No. DD-15 on May 1, 1948 and assigned the mission of patrol around the middle and the end of the Yangtze River as well as along the coast. ...

Dan-Yang destroyer was established by Sasebo shipyard in Japan. It was join the forces in 1940 and has been in the World War Ⅱ. The Japan failed the war and surrendered without reserve in 1945. According to the agreement of allied countries, the representative of R.O.C. have gotten 8 Japanese warships by draw in June 28, 1946. Dan-Yang is one of those.
