Following the universalization of digital photography and editing tools, artists are increasingly choosing video and animation as their artistic media. Showing at National Palace Museum in Taipei until September 25, 2010 is a piece of artwork by Bian Wenjin (http://www.npm.gov.tw/en/visiting/exhibit/exhibit_08.htm?docno=664) who was an important court painter of bird-and-flower subjects during Ming dynasty. His style continued in the tradition of fine brushwork and vivid colors from the Northern Song School and combined with the atmosphere achieved by Southern Song academy painters. The main framework of the painting consists of pine, bamboo, plum blossom, .....
