This exhibition at National Museum of History in Taipei runs until October 17, 2010 (http://www.nmh.gov.tw/en-us/Exhibition/Content.aspx?Para=0|22|545&unkey=53). It is organized by the Museum and the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Kaohsiung County Government. The exhibits include leather figures, paper figures, papercutting, hand shadows, films and digital leather figures. Leather figures come from the Museum and the Shadow Play Museum of Cultural Bureau of Kaohsiung County. Paper figures are from Department of Fine Arts of Tunghai University .Some specimens of papercutting are from Mr. Li Huan-zhang, .....

Following the universalization of digital photography and editing tools, artists are increasingly choosing video and animation as their artistic media. This exhibition, which will continue at National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in Taichung until October 17, 2010 (http://www.ntmofa.gov.tw/english/ShowInfomation1_1.aspx?SN=2899&n=10134), explores the possibility of blending digital and hand-drawing techniques and presents newly derived relationships between these two techniques. Twenty-two artists—19 from France and 3 from Taiwan—were invited to exhibit approximately 200 videos and hand-drawn paintings. ..... |

Showing at National Palace Museum in Taipei until September 25, 2010 is a piece of artwork by Bian Wenjin (http://www.npm.gov.tw/en/visiting/exhibit/exhibit_08.htm?docno=664) who was an important court painter of bird-and-flower subjects during Ming dynasty.
