Organizing Committee Seal of the First Army Group of the National Revolutionary Army |
During the Northern Expedition, the number of soldiers in each legion vastly increased, resulting in too large an army. Chiang Kai-shek, Commander-in-Chief of the Northern Expedition, decided to reduce the size of the army. This seal was used by the Organizing Committee of the First Army Group to reorganize the army in 1928. Academia Historica (The Digital Project of Presidential Collections)
