Cechenena minor 背線天蛾
This species is found in Taiwan, India, Nepal, Thailand, China, Japan, and Vietnam, while the origin of its type specimen is in India. Its host plants include the Polygonaceae, the Actinidiaceae, the Vitaceae, and the Araceae. It is overall brownish-green. The two sides of its head and thorax are white, and there is a black spot in the center of the prothorax. There are five taupe vertical lines on its ventral area. On the forewings there are six taupe oblique lines extending from the apical point to the posterior margin, and on the discal cell end is a black spot. The part near the base of the hind wings is black-brown, while parts near the posterior tip are tawny.
