Function/Purpose:    When using a magnetic telephone to call, first the user must crank the right side handle to generate inductive current and inform the operator to call the person he wants. The transmitter is set in the center of the telephone body, and the user has to be close to the transmitter while talking. The conical receiver is hung on the left side. Most of the casing of the early telephone set was made of wood, which was light, beautiful, and suitable to be hung on an interior wall for public use.
Characteristics:    Since invention, the appearance and conformation of telephones has evolved. Since this type of telephone was very popular from 1930 to 1940, visitors here may often find it in old movies.
