The appearance of Chadisra bipars is similar to C. bipartita, except the outer margin of the reddish brown patch at basal half is flat in C. bipartita but crooked in C. bipars. The adults have a wingspan about 43mm in male, and about 46 mm in female.

The larvae feed on Trema orientalis (L.) Blume in the family Ulmaceae. The adults appear in July and August. This species is distributed in India, Sikkim, Sri Lanka, Sumatra and Taiwan.
